It’s well worth stopping by during the run-up to Christmas to witness the hotel’s completely extravagant external decorations which light up the facade like a particularly sparkly Christmas present, complete with big red bow.

"For the price, the size of its rooms (some with balconies), an incredible location near the metro, restaurants and sights, but most of all, its...views over the lake to the Alps, it's hard to beat." Full review

"This fusty dusty old marvel by the lakeshore won't be for those who like their hotels to be renovated every five minutes – but for the price, the size of its rooms (some with balconies), an incredible location near the metro, restaurants and sights, but most of all, its to-die-for views over the lake to the Alps, it's hard to beat" Full review
