Don't miss the well-represented Chinese ceramics, Hindu-Buddhist sculptures, including the Bhairava statue, more than 4m high (West Sumatra), the fascinating ethnography section, early batiks from West Java, and without forgetting the "treasure": a series of silver and gold objects thought to have been buried by lava from Mt Merapi in the 10C.
