Stroll the grounds, which are full of open-air corridors (lit by torches in the evening) and covered bridges beneath canopies of flowers.
Lonely Planet
"Located south of the city on the banks of Mae Nam Chao Phraya, ‘resort’ is in this case at least an accurate moniker for this expansive, relax-oriented hotel."
DK Eyewitness
"A true resort in more than name, with great tropical gardens perfect for relaxing after a day spent sightseeing."

The hotel has a pleasant social resort hum to it, nicely suited for families; the Millennium Hilton just up the river might appeal more to the hip crowd, but anyone who wants to avoid the hassle of crossing the river will look to Silom or Sukhumvit roads.

There are a wide range of room types, but standard fare has hardwood floors, Thai alphabet designs on the walls, and epic views of the river (if you ask for this).
